MEDIA, STORYTELLING & COMMUNICATIONS

Help tell the story behind the tracks.

There is an extraordinary story developing around Make Tracks For Jack.

We need people who can help tell it.

That might mean social media, traditional media, photography, film, journalism, communications, marketing, website content — or helping us explore the possibility of documenting the journey itself.

You might help us:

  • develop our social media presence;

  • create and schedule content;

  • keep our website current;

  • identify stories within the participant community;

  • build relationships with journalists and media organisations;

  • prepare media releases;

  • coordinate photography and video;

  • investigate documentary opportunities;

  • help us tell the MTFJ story responsibly and powerfully.

You don't necessarily need to do all of those things yourself.

You might help us build the team that does.

You'll have the freedom to:

GREEN — Go for it

Routine approved social content, website updates, media research, content planning, photography and relationship-building.

AMBER — Let's talk

Media interviews, significant announcements, suicide-specific messaging, sponsor announcements or substantial use of Jack's personal story.

RED — Committee decision

Documentary rights, formal media partnerships, contracts, exclusivity arrangements and major reputational matters.

Typical commitment: Around 3–5 hours per week, potentially shared across several people.
