You might help us:

• refine route and campsite planning;

• coordinate fuel and supply logistics;

• liaise with relevant authorities and land managers;

• develop emergency and contingency arrangements;

• coordinate vehicle requirements;

• assist with communications planning;

• develop risk controls;

• help plan convoy operations;

• coordinate suppliers and operational resources.

Research, obtain quotations, liaise with suppliers, verify routes and facilities, identify risks and develop planning options.

AMBER — Let's talk

Material operational changes, expenditure proposals, vehicle requirements or changes affecting participants.

RED — Committee decision

Safety policy, contracts, insurance purchase, significant expenditure, major route changes and event cancellation decisions.

Typical commitment: Around 3–5 hours per week averaged across the project.
